Legislators Rumored to be Drafting ICD-10 Delay Language

ICD-10-CM/PCS implementation in 2015 is not out of the woods yet. ADVOCATE has received news that Representative Pete Sessions (R-TX), chairman of the House Committee on Rules, may be seeking support from colleagues in Congress to draft language that would delay the implementation of ICD-10. March is a critical month for ICD-10 advocacy, as the ICD-10 delay enacted in 2014 was tied to the Medicare Sustainable Growth Rate (SGR) fix, which expires this April.
